"I strive to make the viewer to feel as I do: that all beings are sacred and magical. I combine traditional and modern techniques to produce unique prints and murals with considerable detail. Each work represents a sacred being and is a meditation or prayer for that being. I combine aspects of different religions, such as Buddhism and Hinduism, to give each being new meaning. I believe all beings are worthy of compassion and love, and in order for the planet to survive, we need to nd that compassion for ourselves, the Earth and all of the creatures who are an intregal and interconnected part of our ecosystem. Ancient cultures once worshipped and respected nature and the laws of the universe and lived in harmony with them. Through art and meditation on nature and its creatures, one can experience that connection with all beings, that connection human beings once held holy." - Karen Fiorito
